Alright so one might say that I am too old to still be watching Making the Band, I’m 26. But you know what I say to them, kiss ass… because I love that show!
So this past Tuesday the show was filled with good lovin as Que and Dawn spent some quality time with each other. Here’s a snippet of the written summary from MTV:
While on the road, Qwanell has noticed that Dawn is an avid reader of romance novels, so he has come up with a plan to create a “chapter” in a suite he booked. In the room, Qwanell sets up candles, chocolates, rose petals and a whole lot more. When Dawn arrives, she loves all that he has done, admitting that no one has ever done anything so sweet for her before. Then, Qwanell again tells Dawn that he would like to marry her and begins to serenade her with a song.
The reason why I like this couple is because it reminds me of my relationship. If you have followed the couple you would know that Dawn, 25, was reluctant to date Que being that he was 5 years younger than her and her label mate. But Que was persistent and both now admit to being the happiest they have been. Okay I am 26; K my boyfriend is 20, yep 20. Like Dawn I laughed in his face when he wanted to date me, told him he was too young and we should just be friends. Like Que, K could give a shit what I thought and knew he was the one for me and pursued me like prey. Thank God for that; you couldn’t beat the smile off my face now. Loving him is the easiest thing I have ever done.
