If this show isn’t the modern day true story of the Jackson 5 I don’t know what is. In the second episode of Brother to Brutha the boys and there manager/uncle load up to go to Vegas so the boys can visit their real father. I believe the boys were in the house for about 45 seconds before the uncle jumped on his brother in a attempt to beat the living shit out of him. Now when I saw this I immediately thought, well damn way to set an example Unc! I thought that it was a little tacky and if he felt that emotional he should not have come into the house. THEN the father started in on Poppa and called him all type of names, names you would call someone on the street.. if that, this man was saying these things to his son and then I thought, Unc why didn’t you finish beating this mans ass. It was clear why there uncle was so upset and emotionally charged just from being in the room with him, it’s because their father acts like a potty mouth five year old.
I choked up a little bit watching Poppa being consoled by his Uncle, he is truly there saving grace. Don’t we all need someone like that in our lives?
But true to form before the close of the show they all made up, at least for now, and the boys even sang for their father. These gentlemen are really growing on me, there union is beautiful to watch.
This show is Keyshia Coles Show to the 3rd power. I had to stop watching it because I cried too much. I can’t take it. lol
