The beautiful Gabrielle Union is geering up to do a show on NBC.

Spontitz will write the show and Union, best known for her role in Bring It On, will star as a detective who must race to save someone’s life before it’s too late.

The project is a collaboration by Union and Spotnitz and will be produced by Universal Media Studios.

Spotnitz’s other TV credits include the recent Samurai Girl, Robbery Homicide Division and the X-Files spin-off The Lone Gunmen. Union, who was seen last season on Ugly Betty and regularly appeared on 7th Heaven, most recently has been focused on the big screen, appearing in features such as Meet Dave and Tyler Perry’ Daddy’s Little Girls.

I love Gabby so I hope the show is a success the synopsis leaves much to the imagination so I will update you on any new information.

I absolutely love this show and I watched it religiously when it was on NBC but just like that it seemed to disappear. Then the grumblings started about the show beginning season 3 but here’s the catch you HAD to have DirecTV and watch it on there channel DirecTV 101. Well I asked my assistant, Ms. Google to find somewhere else I could watch the episodes that started airing October 1, 2008 and my assistant came through. If you do not have DirecTV and you enjoy watching the show you can view or download the show at this link.

If you have what I don’t have and that’s patience you can wait for season 3 to air on NBC in February.

Lipstick Jungle Cancelled… Friday, November 14, 2008

I did not jump on the Lipstick Jungle band wagon right away because I was still rehabbing off of Sex and the City and I wasn’t ready to get into a replica. But watching an episode of Project Runway with Brooke Shields I decided that I would try and get into the new season. When the new season began I jumped right in and began to enjoy the three friends going about their lives. Apparently I am a day late and a dollar short because there are rumors going around that the show has been cancelled. I got nervous when they switched them to Friday nights. Like Oprah says, ‘never let them take you to the second location’ that’s what moving a show to Friday nights feels like to me. Well low and behold they may have been kicked to the curb, be sure to tune in tonight there may not be many more new episodes to catch.

Season 2 Army Wives Finale Tuesday, November 4, 2008

Okay I sat down to watch Army Wives last night so let’s do the rundown:

Roxy- I absolutely can’t wait to see her fight for that bar she may have just received her GED but I feel the people around her and her street smarts should surely have her as the successor. Trevor is itching to have a baby and Roxy wants to focus on the bar and establishing her new business. In light of recent events he will probably put his baby hopes on ice.

Denise- Miss Thang is boo’d up something nice with Mac so it was no surprise they had to shake up her life with his ex-girlfriend coming and declaring war wanting to get her man back. Across the ocean her husband is falling for someone and their son spotted the two and got upset. I forgot that they never told him they had separated though they are both cheating him knowing that information would have taking some of the sting out of seeing that.

Pamela- My girl was fired for keeping it real and that little slut Jennifer Connor slimed her way into her time slot on the radio.

Claudia Joy- Well the Holden’s are preparing to go to Brussels and the show ended with Logan and Emmalin running away together. Logan apparently has went A.W.O.L. and it is interesting to see how that unfolds because you can go to jail for that so… nice cliffhanger. That should start season three off with a lot of drama.

Joan- Michael Holden’s replacement for Brigadier General has ties with Joan’s nemesis Evan and Evan receives a promotion while Joan was ordered to tour in Iraq. Out of everything that happen this to me was the most heartbreaking.

In a perfect world (how season 3 should start off in my opinion)- With the drama with Michael Holden’s daughter he has to stay on the base that coupled with Claudia Joy being terrified of what that slut will do to Fort Marshall they end up staying for good and Michael Holden’s resumes his position and his first order of business is keeping Joan with her family. Second order of business is Pamela resumes her role on the airwaves. Claudia Joy with her legal background helps Roxy with her case and Roxy regains her bar and becomes a full owner. I have no ideas for the rest of the cliffhangers I’ll let the writers surprise me.

Until next season..
